HGS stepped in half way through this project after a previous contractor had failed to deliver on contract. The client and local authority were extremely anxious to complete the project for obvious reasons of contamination. HGS completed the entire capping and infrastructure on this site well within budget four weeks ahead of programme, and to an exceptional standard. Both our client in the UK and USA were extremely happy and have since commissioned further work.
Biogenie
This third-phase development pad infrastructure was awarded to HGS based on our previous experience and installations with this client. Due to our ongoing site knowledge with Biffa Waste Services and our relationships with local suppliers this project was another successful completion ahead of schedule, giving our client three weeks early tipping space on 50,000 tonnes.
Wilford Lane
McAuliffe’s Ltd awarded this contract to HGS based on our ongoing remediation expertise and also the fact that we could deliver the project far more competitively that other contractors. This major gas wall installation was completed on time and under budget, thus giving our clients a real head start in this huge brownfield operation.
Poplars
HGS were instructed by Biffa Waste Services to install a new 250mm SDR11 leachate main, complete with 3 brand new HDPE 12-way boxed manifolds giving complete control to over 30 leachate wells on site. This was completed two weeks ahead of schedule whilst HGS also aided site in tackling some major historical obstacles.
